Dr Chris Scott
Plastic Surgeon (Hand)
Dr Chris Scott is a dedicated hand surgeon with extensive training and experience in treating a wide variety of hand injuries and conditions using both surgical and non-surgical techniques.
Dr Scott completed his MBBS at Sydney University, graduating with first class honours. While training in General Surgery, he undertook a 12 month Fellowship at the Sydney Hospital Hand Unit and subsequently transferred to Plastic Surgery to pursue a career in Hand Surgery.
As part of his Plastic Surgery training, Dr Scott spent a year at the prestigious Hutt Hospital Plastic Surgery Unit in Wellington New Zealand, and a further six months at the Sydney Hospital Hand Unit.
He has been a VMO at the Sydney Hospital Hand Unit, Liverpool Hospital and Fairfield Hospital. As Director of Hand Surgery at Liverpool Hospital, he was instrumental in the establishment of the new South Western Sydney Hand Centre at Fairfield Hospita. He operates on private and WorkCover patients at Hurstville Private, Sydney Southwest Private and Campbelltown Private Hospitals. He is a member of the Australian Hand Surgery Society and the NSW Hand Surgery Association.
